Fourteen years ago, I relearned how to walk. That experience redefined my understanding of performance under maximum pressure. Today, it serves as the foundation for how I partner with elite organizations to optimize their human capital and systems. I specialize in helping leaders and teams in high-stakes environments build the systemic resilience that makes them totally unshakeable.
My journey moved from the backfields to the front office after a stint in journalism covering Major League Baseball operations for NPR. I realized that technical talent in the industry is rarely a problem. The real challenge is systemic friction. Being embedded in player development systems gave me a deep understanding of the complexity, ambiguity and risk that leaders in the game face every day.
As the founder of How We Won, I serve as the Strategic Partner to elite talent and teams. I help organizations identify value leaks in their leadership pipeline and optimize them by closing the communication latency between their data analytics/tech and their people.
I’ve delivered over 4,800 sessions to employees at top companies like Google, American Express and Warner Bros. Discovery. I continue to act as a Strategic Advisor for the MLB’s elite leaders and up-and-coming talent. I believe their lead stance is the single greatest driver of an organization’s ROI. My mission is to move them beyond the hero trap—where they act as the single point of failure—and into the role of system designer, building autonomous, self-correcting teams.
